80'S ARTISTS IN PHOENIX!

Well,it's been an interesting summer here in Phoenix! Lots of great 80's artists back on the road, and coming through the Valley of the Sun!
First up: the 2nd annual TRUE COLORS Tour. This tour featured headliner Cyndi Lauper,who,since her first lp,"She's So Unusual", in 1983, has continued being unusual, colorful, and has proven her staying power.With Cyndi were The B'52's, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts,and Andy Bell, vocalist of Erasure. This was a great show! Can't wait til the next one.
But, the 80's were back in full force when The ReGeneration Tour 2008 hit the road, and the stage on it's first stop here in Phoenix.
Created and promoted by Red Entertainment of NYC, this all 80's tour brought bands that had not been seen in many years. Featuring Missing Persons, A Flock of Seagulls,ABC, Belinda Carlisle ( of Go Go's fame) and headliners The Human League, the ReGeneration Tour took us on a time-trip! Excellent show. The Tour, which has a changing line up as it goes, runs through August. For more info, check out www.regenerationtour.com
