[b]Now, there have been some wild and bizarre names used by bands. But, no matter how odd the name may be,when the music takes the band to the top,their name rolls right off our tongues....even if the name makes no sense at all!
Here's a few for you:
T'PAU ; The band who gave us "Heart and Soul" got their moniker from a Vulcan on STAR TREK!

DURAN DURAN " Simon and crew were named after a character from the campy sci fi film,"BARBARELLA", starring Jane Fonda.

Named after the cult indy comic of the same name from Los Bros Hernandez.
